Swim and Dive meets and events do not happen without volunteers. The volunteer policy is outlined below. We believe that this policy supports families, athletes, and the team.

Volunteer Hours Requirements

Swim and Dive meets and events do not happen without volunteers. All families are required to contribute to the team by volunteering. There are many opportunities, both on and off the deck, to complete the hours required.

Families with both swimmers and divers are encouraged to split their hours evenly between the swim AND dive team.

The following are the updated volunteer hours requirements for the 2026 season:

Swim Families --20 Hours

Dive Families -- 20 Hours

Swim and Dive Families -- 20 Hours

When registering, a family must submit a $400 deposit through Swimtopia via credit card. This deposit will be not be charged if the family earns 20 volunteer hours.

If your swimmer or diver is selected for a championship meet, you will be required to volunteer, if needed, even if you have met your volunteer hours requirement. The team will assign volunteer positions for these championship meets. For swim, this includes Divisional Relay Carnival, All Star Relay Carnival, Divisionals and Individual All Stars. For dive, this includes Divisionals and All Stars.

We understand that emergencies happen, however, if you cancel within 24 hours of an event, we request that you find a replacement and let the volunteer coordinator know who the replacement is by emailing cpointevolunteer@gmail.com.

All volunteers are required to comply with minor protection requirements and no person who has been convicted of a crime of physical violence or sex-related offenses may serve as a volunteer.

Minor Volunteer Restrictions - Minors age 13-17 will be able to volunteer for the following positions only: timer or concessions worker, or table workers for dive meets. High school and middle school students can earn service hours by volunteering.
