Volunteer Policy
Swim and Dive meets and events do not happen without volunteers. The volunteer policy is outlined below. We believe that this policy supports families, athletes, and the team.
Volunteer Hours Requirements
The following are the updated volunteer hours requirements for the 2024 season:
Swim Families -- 22 volunteer hours
Dive Families -- 22 volunteer hours
* NOTE: Families with both swimmers and divers are encouraged to split their hours evenly between the swim and dive team.
If your swimmer or diver is selected for a championship meet, you will be required to volunteer, if needed. The team will assign volunteer positions for these championship meets. For swim, this includes Divisional Relay Carnival, All Star Relay Carnival, Divisionals and Individual All Stars. For dive, this includes Divisionals and All Stars.
When registering, a family must submit a $400 deposit through Swimtopia. This deposit will be returned when the family earns 22 volunteer points.
If you have volunteered in any capacity, we're planning on your being available unless you tell us you won’t be, preferably at least two days in advance. We understand that emergencies happen, however, if you cancel within 24 hours of an event, we request that you find a replacement and let the volunteer coordinator know who the replacement is by emailing [email protected]
