Crosspointe Cruisers Swim & Dive Team

Swim and Dive meets and events do not happen without volunteers. The volunteer policy is outlined below. We believe that this policy supports families, athletes, and the team.

Volunteer Hours Requirements

The following are the updated volunteer hours requirements for the 2022 season:

Swim Families -- 20 volunteer hours

Dive Families -- 20 volunteer hours

Swim and Dive Families -- 20 hours*

Families whose eldest or only swimmer is age 6 or under -- 5 hours

*Note: For Swim and Dive families, fifteen (15) of the volunteer hours must be for swim events and five (5) volunteer hours must be for dive events.

When registering, a family must submit a $250 deposit through Swimtopia. This deposit will be returned when the family earns 20 volunteer hours [exception: only 5 volunteer hours are required for families whose eldest or only swimmer is
age 6 and under].

If you have volunteered in any capacity, we're planning on your being available unless you tell us you won’t be, preferably at least two days in advance. We understand that emergencies happen, however, if you cancel within 24 hours of an event, we request that you find a replacement and let the volunteer coordinator know who the replacement is by emailing cpvolunteer@gmail.com.
